The president of the Lithuanian Society of Cardiology, professor at the Heart Center of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, cardiologist Prof. Dr. Tomas Lapinskas agreed to talk about the trends of rising bad cholesterol, which lead to more cardiovascular diseases and the fear ingrained in Lithuanians’ minds about treating with statins.
