The healthiest – not fried
All potatoes contain beneficial vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. White potatoes are a good source of potassium and vitamin C, and they also contain vitamin B6 and fiber. A significant portion of the fiber in potatoes is in their skin.
However, potatoes can become a much more calorie-dense dish when they are fried in a large amount of oil or generously seasoned with butter, sour cream, cheese, or other fatty products.
