Utena has always been a pass-through city for me when heading to the lake capital Zarasai or even further, but in reality, Utena has countless wonderful places to visit, unique people with their own stories, and small local businesses worth visiting.
Although I “jumped higher than my belly button” with this project, I think it turned out great.
One such place is the restaurant “Pakrantės terasa,” located right by Lake Dauniškis, which officially opened its doors on July 17 last year. The restaurant, which opened just a year ago, is extremely popular among locals and visiting tourists – both the traditional Lithuanian cuisine and the beautiful terrace with a view of the lake, inviting you to sit down, relax, and enjoy, are impressive.
