Based on the asset and income declarations published last year by the State Tax Inspectorate (VMI), the richest minister in Inga Ruginienė’s government was the Minister of Transport Juras Taminskas, but in M. Sinkevičius’s cabinet, another colleague surpassed him in accumulated wealth.
The newly appointed prime minister’s declared assets and accumulated money are far from those of the ministers he leads, and there are also some strange changes in the declarations.
However, the declaration of the only female cabinet member – Minister of Environment Ieva Andriulaitytė – has not yet been submitted, as she has not held positions that require declaring and publicly disclosing assets so far.
