After a heart-wrenching fight, the owners found three dead stork chicks near the nest. The adult storks defending the nest were also injured. The homestead owners, who have been welcoming storks in spring and seeing them off in autumn for many years, had never seen such a fight before.

Juozas Pauliukonis shared another scene of stork fighting from a nest in the Kaišiadorys district on Facebook on Wednesday. Here, a stork attacked a chick sitting in the nest. People tried to shout and drive the stork away at that time, but it did not stop. It only stopped when the pecked chick fell out of the nest.
