Kuwait’s Deputy Foreign Minister Hamad Suleiman al-Mashaan summoned Iran’s chargé d’affaires in Kuwait Hamed Hamid Yaqoubi Far and “delivered an official protest note regarding the ongoing Iranian attacks and the decision to reduce the number of members of the Iranian embassy in the country and declare two members of the Iranian diplomatic mission persona non grata, demanding their departure from Kuwait (…) territory within no more than 24 hours,” the ministry’s statement said.

Kuwait reported detecting 30 ballistic missiles and drones launched by Iran on Wednesday.
Kuwait’s Ministry of Health earlier reported that at least 63 people were injured at Kuwait airport during the Iranian attack on Wednesday.
Officials earlier reported one fatality. A source at the airport told AFP news agency that the deceased was an Indian citizen present at Kuwait airport.

India’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Iran’s attack on Kuwait airport on Wednesday and confirmed that one Indian citizen was killed and several others were injured.
“We condemn today’s attack on Kuwait International Airport, in which an Indian citizen was killed and several other of our citizens were injured,” the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

“We once again urge countries to stop such attacks,” it added.
