According to Šarūnas Birutis, chairman of the Seimas delegation to the NATO PA, the spring session held in Vilnius is very important for Lithuania as it once again confirms our country’s role as an active and reliable member of the transatlantic community.

“This is not only a high-level political event but also a clear signal that NATO parliamentary diplomacy takes place close to the regions where security issues are not theoretical,” he said.

According to the member of the Seimas, this session contributes to shaping NATO’s future at the parliamentary level.

“It is here that representatives of national parliaments coordinate political views, strengthen public support for NATO decisions, and send a clear message about the Alliance’s unity.
