The retail chain’s culinary masters share ways to enjoy these fruits in comforting meals or snacks in a press release.
Banana Pancakes
Culinary masters are convinced – once you try them, you’ll bake these inexpensive banana pancakes, which take only 15 minutes to prepare, not only on special occasions but even every day. For two servings, you will need:
- 4 bananas;
- 250 g wheat flour;
- 400 ml milk;
- 2 eggs;
- 2 tbsp. sugar;
- 4 tsp. baking powder;
- 4 tbsp. vegetable oil;
- salt (to taste).
Preparation. Mash three bananas with a blender, put them in a deep bowl. Stir in eggs, milk, and oil. While constantly stirring, pour in flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Heat a lightly oiled pan to medium temperature, spoon out the pancakes and fry for about 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. When serving, slice the remaining banana (or more) on top. You can also season with maple syrup or your favorite jam.

Sandwiches with bananas and chocolate spread
These dessert sandwiches, delightful in taste and preparation cost, will charm both adults and children. You will need:
- 3 bananas;
- 12 slices of whole grain bread;
- 200 g chocolate spread;
- 200 g unsalted butter;
- 3 tbsp. sugar or powdered sugar.
Preparation. Mash the bananas in a bowl by hand so that the mixture does not become too liquid. Spread on six slices of bread. Spread chocolate cream on the other six. Combine the slices with different flavors, spread butter on the outside of the sandwiches and grill for 2-4 minutes on both sides until lightly browned. Sprinkle the cooked sandwiches with sugar or powdered sugar.
Refreshing Banana-Strawberry Sorbet
This nutritious dessert will perfectly refresh you on a hot summer day or become a perfect and inexpensive snack in the evening. To prepare the sorbet, you will need:
- 3 bananas;
- 16–20 small strawberries;
- 3 tsp. honey;
- 100 g Greek yogurt;
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice.
Preparation. Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses, decorate with your favorite fruits and berries. Enjoy!
