HBO has finally released the long-awaited first full trailer for the series based on J.K. Rowling’s first book about the adventures of the boy wizard Harry Potter. It should delight fans of the book and the now cult film, as well as interest a younger generation of fans.

Fans of the books and films will recognize the atmosphere of the cult film in the trailer – much in the series looks familiar and natural. Meanwhile, the younger generation of fans will see more impressive special effects and more details about life at Hogwarts – something that, it is said, the original film director Chris Columbus failed to fully convey.
Moreover, the trailer shows that the series’ events will not be told solely from Harry’s perspective. This is revealed, for example, by a scene with the Weasley family.
More attention will also be given to other book characters, whose stories in the series are expected to be expanded more broadly.
