We remind you that mountaineer Saulius Damulevičius also tried to climb to the summit of Everest without additional oxygen and Sherpa assistance, but today, being at an altitude of 8400 m, he decided to turn back. You can read more here.
Less than 200 climbers have reached Everest without additional oxygen, and not a single Lithuanian.
