An “unruly” passenger in the first-class cabin was restrained with duct tape – the plane had to make an emergency landing due to the incident. The incident occurred on September 3rd during an American Airlines flight from Dallas to New Jersey, according to PEOPLE.

During the flight, the passenger reportedly shouted racist and homophobic insults at crew members and other passengers, and also struck at least two people, CNN reported.
