My goodness, it’s nonsense that we’re having a second Icelandic summer in a row. You won’t do anything summery, nor will you go to the sea. And even if you do go, you’ll walk on the beach in a jacket and convince yourself that it’s fun too. And when the stingy sun peeks out for a minute through a gap in the thick clouds, you’ll quickly take off your clothes, take a photo, and upload it to Instagram so others can envy how good you have it by the sea.

And it’s not even a joke, I’ve seen people do it myself. Then you’ll quickly get dressed and continue to wander aimlessly, feeling like it’s autumn. I’m so disappointed with such bad weather, I can’t stand it.
The day before yesterday, for example, I was sitting in my Vilnius office, it was raining outside, and at one point the drops rolling down the glass created such a sight as if it were snowing outside. I even flinched, I remember. You see what a bad summer does to a person’s nerves.
