“We are also receiving more and more internal information from Russia about preparations for additional mobilization in the aggressor state. First of all, this is done to compensate for the particularly heavy losses of the Russian army in the occupied territory of Ukraine,” wrote the Ukrainian leader.
“The Russian political leadership has set the task of increasing the occupation contingent, which means at least tens of thousands of additional soldiers. We also have data on further mobilization expansion. It is precisely for this purpose that the Russian authorities have accelerated the issuance of so-called mobilization orders,” he noted.
“We assess these Russian steps as confirmation that Moscow is not preparing for real diplomacy,” emphasized V. Zelensky and added that Ukraine will share the available data with its partners.

“Russia must end its war, and the world has leverage. We are working at all levels to defend Ukraine and encourage Russia to engage in diplomacy,” wrote the Ukrainian leader.
