Israeli Army: all territory south of Lebanon's Zahrani River is a combat zone

“We recommend the residents of Southern Lebanon to evacuate north of the Zahrani River, as all territories south of this river are considered combat zones,” he added.

The Israeli army earlier on Wednesday issued an evacuation warning to the residents of the city of Tyre and surrounding areas, stating that it is preparing to strike targets of the Hezbollah militant group there.

Soon after, Lebanese state media and AFP news agency correspondent reported strikes on the outskirts of this Southern Lebanese city.

The State National News Agency (NNA) reported that “Israeli enemy military aircraft struck the outskirts of Tyre,” and also informed about another raid near the city, which was carried out despite the existing ceasefire.

AFP correspondent in Tyre also reported at least one strike near the city.
