“Currently, it is estimated that the factory buildings are restored by 21–25 percent. The first goal is not even to restore the buildings, but to clean up the landfill that has been left,” Marius Švaikauskas said to journalists on Friday after the meeting of the Vilnius Municipality Environment and City Services Committee.

“There are tens of thousands of wastes left in the area, where we cannot even carry out restoration now. So the first thing is – we will clean up the area within a few months and start restoration work, we will look for a partner, a contractor who could do it,” he added.
