All three studied at the Klaipėda Stasys Šimkus Conservatory and lived in the same dormitory, so they still have plenty of shared musical memories.

“We were not only roommates, but we probably also sang together with them in the shower,” Ričardas said with a smile on the LNK show “Šeškinės 20” about those times.

Today, Ričardas is testing his skills on the “Žvaigždžių duetai” stage, where his partner is Katažina Zvonkuvienė. She also recalled the beginning of her musical journey in the “Šeškinės 20” studio and did not hide that she has experienced everything on stage. Once, she even fell from the third floor of the conservatory with an accordion.

“You could call me a klutz. If there is a pothole, I will definitely fall into it. I fell with an accordion from the third floor of the conservatory. So, everything has happened, but singing is everything to me. Somehow, I found myself, maybe my self-worth, because I was always insecure, with some wounds. A village girl who found that strength in singing,” Katažina confessed.

The first attempts at singing were also told by another “Žvaigždžių duetai” pair – Adomas Grinius and Sandra Carrillo. Adomas admitted that he attended choir as a child, although at first it was not entirely by his own will.

“I attended choir as a child. More by force, but in the end I liked it and then I realized that singing itself carries a lot of energy. But I will have to learn and learn more,” he said.

Adomas and Sandra do not hide that while rehearsing they have already managed to find a common language, although both have one shared weakness – punctuality.

“We are always late. I’m 15 minutes late, Sandra 10 minutes, and she tells me: you’re Spanish, not me. But we really don’t argue, we completely enjoy it. And as they say – through mistakes to the stars,” Adomas laughed.
