Asked where little Rocker Lukas had been all these years, the performer smiles and answers briefly: “He just grew up.”

Although many years have passed since his first performances, the stage name that made him famous as a child still follows Lukas today. The performer himself claims he never wanted to distance himself from it, but today he wants people to get to know not only the boy who once became famous but also the person he has become.
“I was never ashamed or afraid of this name. After all, it is a beautiful name that many remember. I think it still left some mark in music history. Essentially, I am the same person, just with new goals. So I thought for a long time and asked myself the question – why not show myself differently now?” says LNK project participant Lukas Liepinaitis.
Music traveled through his family from generation to generation, but in adolescence, singing gradually took a back seat. Lukas’s daily life was filled with studios, work, and businesses.
Today he has been working as a project sales manager in a manufacturing company for almost nine years, and together with his wife, he owns two beauty salons and an online beauty products store. However, over time, Lukas realized that constantly trying to keep up with everything delays what he truly wants for himself.
“My wife has always been interested in the beauty industry, and I in business. So we combined our strongest qualities and used them to implement new businesses. We have two beauty salons and an online store. But there is another side – when you try to do many things yourself in life, you overload yourself so much that there is no time even to sit down for a moment and think about what else I would like to do myself.”
Although music was not Lukas’s main activity in the past decade, he never completely gave it up. Performances at private events, a new song, and a few more works in preparation eventually encouraged him to present himself to the audience anew.

“Music has always been like an additional thing. But gradually I want to make it visible in my life again. There are definitely all kinds of private events, I recently released a new song, I have a few more on the way, but I am ready to present myself to people anew, as a personality,” says Lukas.
Family also holds an important place in his life today. Together with his wife, Lukas is raising a son who is almost three years old, whose birth he calls the most beautiful memory of his life.
“I don’t know… Different people would probably say different things. My wife sees it one way, my mother another. But for me, the most important thing is how he will see me when he grows up. As much as I invest today, that is the son I will have,” Lukas reflects.
Now Lukas has decided to try himself once again on the big stage – this time not as the childhood-famous Rocker Lukas.
“A stage of life has come when I realized that I will not lose music anyway. It is a part of my life, and that love for it seems to have been passed down from generation to generation, because both my father and grandparents, even fifty years ago, had their own bands. So why not tear myself apart, go into the project, and completely tear myself to pieces to recreate myself and see what kind of musician or performer I really am?”
