“The local oil refinery in Saratov was attacked and is burning. A strike on Engels-2 airfield was recorded – it seems that Tu-95MS were attacked again. One of the drones hit a residential building,” he wrote on his Telegram channel, posting eyewitness videos. The strike on the airfield is confirmed by the monitoring channel “Exilenova+”.
The attack on the Saratov oil refinery became at least the fifteenth since the start of the large-scale war, counted by the Telegram channel “Astra”.
The company owned by “Rosneft” is one of the oldest oil refineries in Russia – it processes about 4.8 million tons of oil per year and remains one of the main oil refineries in the Volga region, reports “The Moscow Times”.
Another target was the “Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim” oil refinery in Ufa. The strike was reported by J. Matveev, “Exilenova+” and “Astra”. This is the second attack on this company in the last two days. The refinery is the largest in Bashkiria and is capable of processing up to 8.2 million tons of oil per year. The company produces about 60 types of products, including automotive and marine fuel, petroleum coke, liquefied gases, and sulfur.

In the Samara region, drones attacked the “Wildberries” distribution center, reported Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev. “Wildberries” confirmed the attack and the warehouse fire, stating that according to preliminary data no one was injured.
The company noted that deliveries and order shipments have been redirected to other logistics facilities. “Exilenova+” publishes eyewitness videos showing the warehouse completely engulfed in flames, with a thick column of black smoke rising above it.
Ukraine confirmed it struck a military airfield
Later, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the Saratov oil refinery and Engels airfield, which hosts strategic bombers Tu-95MS and Tu-160, as well as the Liudinovo oil depot in the Kaluga region, which according to the General Staff is also used for the needs of the Russian military, were hit.
In turn, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that overnight air defense systems destroyed 635 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions, including the Moscow region and the Voronezh, Saratov, and Tula regions.
