Russian news portals “Viorstka” and “Važnyje istorii” determined that in August 2024, when Ukrainian forces began their operation against the Kursk region, at least 344 conscripted Russian soldiers were deployed in the border zone.
At least 77 of them died.
Conscripts from various Russian regions were killed. All the deceased were aged 18-25.
