Pumpėnai, with a population of only about 600, once again became a place where people from various corners of Lithuania gathered. Throughout the day, festival guests enjoyed free activities for families, sports tournaments, educational sessions, community spaces, entertainment for children, and in the evening, concerts and an impressive stage with the largest amount of LED screens, lights, and sound in the festival’s history awaited them.

One of the biggest highlights of the festival was the 4000 free ice creams, which were offered to visitors by the festival partners. More than ten different activities, in which both children and adults participated, also attracted a lot of attention. A unique feature of the festival is that no alcohol is sold there.
Festival organizer Arminas Vareika says that this year’s event once again showed what is truly most important. “Before the festival, we all hoped that we would finally get a sunny weekend. Unfortunately, we were once again visited by record rainfall. However, people stayed, smiled, communicated, and created the atmosphere. This once again proved that the festival is created not by the weather, but by the people. I am sincerely grateful to every volunteer, partner, sponsor, performer, and visitor who became part of this story.”

Dozens of volunteers, the local community, partners, and sponsors contributed to the organization of the festival. The organizers emphasize that it is their trust that allows them to grow the event annually and create a celebration that has long become more than just a concert or a one-day event.
The “Pumpėnai Festival” today is an example of community spirit, showing that even a small town can create a big event. And although rain has been part of this story for the sixth year in a row, it cannot wash away what is most important – people’s desire to be together, to create, and to believe in their community.
