The monument will be 55.6 meters high.
The sculpture of the Mother of God itself will be 40 meters high, and another 15 meters will be added by a crown-shaped pedestal. An observation deck will be installed there.

Construction began last year, and work is expected to be completed next month. The solemn consecration of the monument is scheduled for August 15, on Assumption Day.
The project’s patron is Polish billionaire businessman Roman Karkosik, who fully finances the construction of the monument.

It was previously reported that a giant statue of Jesus Christ, located in the Polish city of Świebodzin, was broadcasting internet connectivity. At the time, church representatives promised to dismantle the antennas, as they could offend the feelings of believers.
