By involving the whole family in sustainable mobility topics through games and shared experiences, we not only learn about safety but also set an example that sustainable city travel can be convenient, full of discoveries, and unifying,” emphasizes Loreta Levulytė–Staškevičienė, head of JUDU, the event organizer.

The festive afternoon will begin with exciting quiz battles – at 4 PM, attendees will be welcomed by a quiz moderated by event host Paulius Vaitiekūnas.
Teams will be able to test their knowledge about Vilnius and sustainable mobility and win prizes – a scooter and a helmet.
Attention will also be given to the youngest guests of the event – at 5:30 PM, children are invited to a mobility lesson with the beloved Kake Make. They will learn the rules of safe and sustainable city movement through play.

Later, at 6:30 PM, there will be a discussion about how the movement habits of Vilnius residents are changing and what solutions create a more comfortable and cleaner city, with insights shared by JUDU head Loreta Levulytė–Staškevičienė and show host P. Vaitiekūnas.

After Saturday’s celebration, the European Mobility Week events will move to other spaces in the capital. On Sunday, Vilnius residents will be invited to test their skills in city orienteering competitions; on Monday, public transport journeys will be enriched by a professional guide; and the entire mobility week will culminate on Tuesday, September 22, the International Car-Free Day. On that day, public transport in Vilnius will be free, and passengers will enjoy a musical surprise – live concerts on some buses and trolleybuses.
