As reported by the Italian newspaper “L’Unione Sarda” on August 29, the couple opened the airport doors near the runway and started running towards the plane.

“Corriere del Veneto” reports that the couple opened the airport exit located next to the aircraft apron and rushed towards the plane, even though boarding had already ended. “La Nuova Venezia” identified these doors as an emergency exit with an alarm.
