G. Nausėda expects the new VERT member to protect the interests of consumers, especially vulnerable groups, and to ensure effective and balanced regulation of economic entities operating in the energy, water management, and waste sectors.

M. Augustinavičienė has accumulated extensive experience in various regulatory and supervisory institutions – the Communications Regulatory Authority, VERT, the Competition Council, the statement says.
Currently, VERT members include Donatas Jasas, Jelena Dilienė, Matas Taparauskas, Karolis Januševičius, and its chairman Renatas Pocius, according to the VERT website.
