Last December, the first M1 music awards held at Kaunas “Žalgiris” arena attracted not only thousands of spectators but also all the brightest stars of the entertainment world. A Blue Carpet was specially laid out for them that evening, and a VIP zone was prepared in the hall.

“I am sure that many of the country’s performers and musicians have already marked December 9th brightly in their calendars, but to remind them once again about the upcoming important event, instead of the usual invitation, we decided to offer a kind of entertainment, a simple game. We set up a special VIP invitation wall with photos in the M1 studio, so the stars who came to visit could find their own image and take an invitation. The wall empties daily, the photos decrease, and this will be a clear sign that there is less and less time left until the awards,” reveals an unusual idea by M1 program director and show host Arnoldas Eisimantas.
The intriguing VIP invitation search can be watched live by M1 listeners on the radio station’s website, as well as by M1 followers on social networks.
Last year, about 600 important representatives of the music industry and show business celebrities received VIP invitations to the M1 music awards. A VIP invitation gives a person access to the closed Blue Carpet zone, a reserved seat at tables in the arena hall, a ticket to the after-party, and other benefits.
“This year, the number of VIP seats will certainly not decrease, but it would not be physically possible and there would not be enough time to invite everyone to the studio, so some guests, as last year, will be invited personally. Back then, people did not know what to expect at the event because the M1 music awards were organized for the first time, but now no one doubts that this December the highest-level musical show will take place at the ‘Žalgiris’ arena. It’s nice to see that music representatives eagerly await this event,” says A. Eisimantas.

Organizers say that this year, as the event approaches, it will be possible to buy not only regular but also VIP+ tickets on the Bilietai.lt platform. Their number will be very limited, the price higher, but it will provide the viewer with an exclusive experience. In other words, to see up close what it means to be a star or to be among stars.
