Turns on at night
Late at night, sounds that turn on and disturb the peace until morning – such everyday occurrences have recently troubled the residents of Rinktinės Street’s first and other nearby houses. As one of the residents told 15min, the noise is the Sports Palace alarm.

“For ten days now, every evening from about 10 p.m. until morning, the alarm goes off at the Sports Palace (Rinktinės St. 3). It sounds for a very long time and disturbs the residents of the surrounding houses from resting and sleeping,” a Vilnius resident told 15min last week.
She says that together with neighbors they constantly called the police, but the problem was never resolved. So they also contacted the company that monitors the alarm, which allegedly confirmed that the noise comes exactly from the Sports Palace.

“We submitted official complaints to the Vilnius City Municipality and the National Public Health Center. My complaint is registered, but the situation repeats almost every night.
