Robertas Šarknickas got into an accident: “I survived by a miracle”

R. Šarknickas shared on the social network “Facebook” that everything happened in an instant, and the impact was very strong.

“While driving towards the town of Paluknis, a tree fell directly onto my car. I don’t know how, but at that moment the car just jumped from the powerful impact of the tree against the screeching, smoke-filled wheels,” the politician wrote.

Despite the dangerous situation, R. Šarknickas was unharmed. He admitted that the incident could have ended much worse.

“By a miracle, I remained alive and healthy,” he said.

The politician said that this experience made him think once again about how fragile the line can be between ordinary everyday life and a disaster that can change everything in a few seconds. According to him, the consequences of storms are not just broken trees or damaged property, but also a very real danger to human life.

R. Šarknickas added that after this event he values the opportunity to be with loved ones even more and reminded that life should not be postponed until tomorrow.
