In the Odesa region, a Russian jet combat drone struck a passenger train traveling from Zhytomyr to Odesa. This was reported on Sunday on the social network “Facebook” by Oleksandr Percovskyi, head of the state railway operator “Ukrzaliznytsia”.

There were 593 passengers on the train, including 15 children, but no casualties have been reported as evacuation was ordered in time and the train was urgently stopped, said O. Percovskyi.
On the night leading to Sunday, Russian forces launched 127 drones across Ukraine, the air forces reported.

In the southeastern Zaporizhzhia region, three people were killed and 20 injured during Russian attacks, reported regional governor Ivan Fedorov.

In the northeastern Kharkiv region, three people were injured over the past day, reported regional governor Oleh Syniehubov.
The Ukrainian State Emergency Service reported on Sunday that Russia carried out a drone attack on a post office in the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region, at night, causing a fire that covered an area of 350 square meters.
Over the past day, Russian attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk region injured two people, based on reports published on August 22 and 23, reported governor Oleksandr Hanža.
