Israel’s Magen David Adom (MDA) ambulance service stated that a 35-year-old man with gunshot wounds had died.

The service also “provided medical assistance and evacuated five injured individuals to hospitals, two of whom are in serious condition and three in moderate condition, with stab wounds to the body,” the service added.
Police stated they had located a car suspected of being involved in the incident and had killed a suspect near the town of Kochav Yair, a few kilometers from the occupied West Bank.
Rescuers stated that attacks also occurred in the nearby towns of Tzur Natan and Tzur Yitzhak.
The Israeli army told AFP that one attacker was killed and a second was still being sought.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office announced that he “held a situational assessment and is monitoring information regarding this deadly shooting attack.”
