The gymnast, who has won 11 Olympic medals, 7 of them gold, in her career, did not specify what exactly happened to her.
However, the post was serious.
“Normally I don’t share such things because I value privacy these days. But almost dying was not on my happy card this week,” Biles wrote.
She elaborated a bit: “It was one of, if not the scariest experiences of my life. Especially since Jonathan (Indianapolis Colts American football player Jonathan Owens – S.Biles’ husband, ed.) was training in Indiana.”

Biles received visitors and flowers in the hospital. Afterwards, she shared a photo from home, where two dogs were lying in bed.
The photo shows a heart rate rhythm.
“I’ll be here,” Biles wrote next to the bed photo, as if implying that she would now rest at home.
