“It still doesn’t feel real, but I am very excited about this opportunity. I have been playing European basketball for some time, so I definitely know Žalgiris, which has one of the craziest atmospheres in the world,” said the big man.

The basketball player, whose professional career in European basketball started in the 2023–2024 season spent in Germany, said he has definitely not yet unlocked his full potential.

“I think I am still a developing player. When I spoke with Gediminas Navickas, I told him that the only right time to stop improving is when you are already dead. As long as you are alive, you can always improve somewhere, that’s my attitude. Last season I debuted in the European Cup, and now I will play in the EuroLeague – it’s not easy to climb the career ladder so quickly, but I am goal-oriented and keep working, so this season I want to improve alongside what I can already offer, for example, athleticism, blocks, or finishing above the rim,” added the newcomer.
