„LTG Link“ together with guide Adomas has prepared a program again, after which you will enter the Dzūkija forests not as ordinary mushroom pickers, but as true professors of the forest and mushroom picking.

During the trip, you will be introduced not only to mushroom picking strategies, how and where to look for the most secret families of porcini mushrooms, but you will also hear the forest safety protocol. And it is important, because the Dzūkai used to say, “Gudo šalalėn klimpo ne rozų, ba ty vis akivaran kokis tai biesas nutįsdavo.”

You will also hear other Dzūkian secrets known only to locals and also from the local guide Adomas, who is from Senosios Varėna and tells these secrets in the Dzūkian dialect.

And what kind of Storytelling Mushroom Train would it be without musical therapy? Do you still feel nostalgia and a smile appear on your face after seeing last year’s joint train choir videos? This year the bar is raised even higher – passengers will move to the rhythm of romances at the Mushroom Festival.
After all, what is a romance if not a painfully beautiful love story? And in the forest, there is more love than you can imagine. Here a porcini secretly presses against the moss, and a red mushroom looks longingly at the birch top. Even the most hardened mushroom pickers sigh among the rustling pines and squirrel meadows, so romance in the Dzūkian forest sounds surprisingly natural.

The organizers promise that tears will flow only from happiness, and songs will sound louder than the train’s rumbling.
Of course, what kind of Storytelling Mushroom Train would it be without treats. Along the way, passengers will definitely not go hungry – the wagons will smell of fresh, melt-in-your-mouth mushroom pies, and sweets lovers will await porcini mushrooms that never worm.

Brain exercises are also prepared. During the trip, fun contests await, where you will have to demonstrate your mushroom picking and forest knowledge, attentiveness, and the most active passengers will receive great prizes.
The number of tickets is limited – they appear like mushrooms after rain, but disappear just as quickly.
