Ministry negotiates with Japanese businesses on joint projects and investments

The meeting in Vilnius was attended by representatives of Japanese companies Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Electric, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, NEC, Toshiba, Toray Industries, as well as representatives of the Acquisition, Technology & Logistics Agency (ATLA) of the Japanese Ministry of Defense, the ministry reported on Tuesday.

“Lithuania is ready to be a partner for Japanese companies and a platform for expansion in the European market. Our goal is not only to increase trade volume. We aim to create long-term partnerships between Lithuanian and Japanese companies, jointly develop technologies, and strengthen supply chains,” said Paulius Petrauskas, Deputy Minister of Economy and Innovation, in the statement.
