According to the reader, the conflict between the party participants escalated into violence, and the victim suffered very serious injuries.
Eglė Kačinskienė, a representative of the Alytus County Chief Police Commissariat, earlier confirmed to 15min that on July 18 at about 2:40 a.m., the Druskininkai police received a report from a medical institution about a boy born in 2008 who had various facial bruises.
Due to his health condition, the victim could not immediately explain the circumstances of the incident, so he was taken for further examination to the Kaunas clinics.
Initially, the police clarified the circumstances of the incident, and on July 22, they started a pre-trial investigation under Article 138, Part 1 of the Criminal Code for minor bodily harm.
At that time, the police announced that no charges had been filed against anyone, and officers were gathering information and clarifying all the circumstances of the incident. On Tuesday, the prosecutor’s office announced that the investigation had progressed and one young man had been charged.

“The pre-trial investigation, initiated under Article 138, Part 1 of the Criminal Code, is ongoing. At this stage of the investigation, planned procedural actions are being carried out, data is being collected, and the circumstances of this incident are being established. A notification of suspicion has been delivered to one person (born in 2008),” the prosecutor’s office stated.
15min received information from a reader mentioning that one well-known MMA and Bushido fighter might have been violent at the party. However, neither the police nor the prosecutor’s office confirmed this information.
In the latest response, the prosecutor’s office emphasized that it currently cannot confirm or deny that the mentioned person is connected to the crime.
“At this time, we cannot confirm or deny that the person mentioned in your inquiry was violent towards the victim,” the prosecutor’s office response reads.
Law enforcement does not yet provide more information about the suspect or other investigation circumstances, citing the ongoing pre-trial investigation.
