23-year-old S. Lukošius not only triumphed in the FIBA Champions League this season but also became the most valuable player (MVP) of the final four.

In the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL), where “Rytas” sensationally ended the season already in the quarterfinals, S. Lukošius averaged 6.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 5.9 efficiency points in 20.5 minutes on the court.

In the FIBA Champions League, S. Lukošius’s stats were 8.3 points (an impressive 51.6% from three), 3 rebounds, and 9.6 efficiency points in 19 minutes.

“Rytas”, which will turn a new page this off-season, fired head coach Giedrius Žibėnas, and has guaranteed contracts with four Lithuanians – Augustas Marčiulionis, Martynas Paliukėnas, Gytis Masiulis, and Artūras Gudaitis.
