L. Norris beat his closest rival George Russell by 0.102 seconds with his fastest lap. He was only 0.029 seconds behind his Mercedes teammate Kimi Antonelli, who took third place in the race.

Oscar Piastri was also competitive, with a gap of 0.0142 seconds from the leader. He will start from the second row, as will the championship leader.
The gap for other drivers was larger, starting from 0.3 seconds. The fifth and sixth places were taken by Ferrari drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, respectively.

Liam Lawson, who sat behind the wheel of Red Bull this weekend, performed somewhat better in this qualifying, finishing eighth, while his teammate Max Verstappen was seventh. The top ten was completed by Racing Bulls driver Arvid Lindblad and Audi representative Gabriel Bortoleto.
