“Cold soft drinks, marinated meat grilled on a barbecue or campfire, potato chips, which are an inseparable snack companion, and refreshing ice cream – the main attributes that no buyer’s summer is complete without. To ensure these pleasures delight not only the palate but also the wallet during summer, while leaving more room for warm season entertainment, we decided to guarantee our buyers the lowest market price for selected brand products from these 4 product groups throughout all three months. The brands and their participating products in this initiative will change weekly. This is the ‘Hottest Price Promise’ to our buyers,” says Maxima’s media relations representative Titas Atraškevičius.

How does the “Hottest Price Promise” work?
To ensure their price is truly the lowest at Maxima – major chain stores will be physically visited daily to check the regular and promotional prices of selected marinated meat, soft drinks, potato chips, and ice cream brand products.
“If we find cheaper prices for comparable products in other chains, we will reduce the price even further at Maxima – and so throughout the summer. By giving buyers the highest level price promise, we approach it with great determination and responsibility and are serious that every week the buyer will find different selected brand products from these 4 product groups at the lowest price,” explains T. Atraškevičius.

This week, the “Hottest Price Promise” applies to selected products of these brands: Estrella potato chips (130 g), Coca-Cola carbonated drinks (1.5 l), Nykštukas ice cream on a stick, and Vilniaus paukštynas Premium marinated wing parts. These are some of Maxima buyers’ favorite choices during the summer season.

Buyers can also inform about the lowest price
Which other 4 brands and their products will participate in the “Hottest Price Promise” project in a given week will be announced in the “Thank You” promotional leaflet. All information about price comparisons and participating brands and their products can also be checked on the website: www.maxima.lt/pazadas.

Maxima’s representative adds that buyers can also help monitor prices this summer season: “If you notice a lower product price in another major retail chain, take a photo of it and send it by email to klientai@maxima.lt, including information about which store and when this price was recorded.”
