Among the participants, there was also a duo who had previously won the audience’s sympathy in another LNK project. Performer Gabija Sinė and content creator Justas Pečeliūnas joined forces in the “Great Choir Battle,” where they both represented the Panevėžys choir. Gabija was the choir leader, and Justas was the captain.

The duo admits that after participating in this project, they wanted to rest a bit, but the invitation to “Star Duets” changed everything.
“The funniest thing for me in this story is that while the choir project was still ongoing, I told Gabija that if I were invited to sing anywhere else, I definitely wouldn’t participate. We were both tired. Not even half a year passed, and we are already going to sing as a duo,” laughs J. Pečeliūnas.
Gabija admits that the friendship born in the TV project between her and Justas will help them on the “Star Duets” stage as well.
“We are friends. We definitely don’t feel awkward around each other. We are already old wolves,” the performer says with a smile.
Last Sunday, the duo made a serious statement as one of the favorites. Performing “Lemon Joy” and Irma Jurgelevičiūtė’s song “White Snow,” Justas and Gabija scored as many as 38 points.

“We went on stage with a good mood, but we can definitely do even better,” G. Sinė said after the performance.
Although this is not J. Pečeliūnas’s first musical project, he admitted that there was definitely some nervousness.
“What surprised me the most was that Ieva Prudnikovaitė had watched my content. I thought, how nice, because I really like her. And what the jury said, I hadn’t fully realized yet, so I didn’t hear everything,” Justas revealed.
