The series “Serious Matters” will welcome viewers in the new season at a new time – 7:30 PM. From Monday to Thursday, LNK will air the ninth season of the crime series. Over eight years, the series has already surpassed 600 episodes, and its creators joke that it is becoming difficult in Lithuania to find an actor who hasn’t at least briefly visited its filming set. The past season became the most-watched series among all Lithuanian television channels – nearly 1.4 million viewers watched at least one episode. In the new season, Vytautas Kaniušonis’s Baron will return, but the criminal intrigue will increasingly move into the personal lives of the characters – long-hidden family secrets and old grievances will come to light.
At 8 PM, LNK will have a different face. On Mondays, “From… To…” will again travel to places rarely visited by television cameras – from an authentic cruise on a historic sailing ship on the Nile in Egypt to a castle in the Marche region of Italy that has stood for centuries.
On Tuesdays – one of the biggest premieres of the season, “Password.” Its original, “Password,” has been played by Americans for over 60 years, the format has won Emmy awards, and it has become a television classic. The Lithuanian version will also mark Justinas Jankevičius’s debut in the LNK team, and Dainius Kazlauskas will take the place that in the American version belongs to the famous comedian Jimmy Fallon. The principle seems deceptively simple – one clue, one word. Until you start playing.
On Wednesdays, in the show “Šeškinės 20,” Paulius Vaitiekūnas will join Giedrius Savickas and Džiugas Siaurusaitis. The third host position has already been tried by the Lavrinovičiai brothers and Laura Dragūnaitė, and this season it is the turn of one of the brightest young generation hosts.
On Thursdays – sharp topics and different opinions. Rūta Mikelkevičiūtė and Paulius Mikolaitis in the “For or Against?” studio will again raise questions that almost everyone has an opinion on. The new season will bring new topics that will move discussions from the television studio into viewers’ homes.
At 9 PM, a new family will settle in the LNK home. From Monday to Thursday, a new comedy series “Not All Home” will be shown, starring Vitalija Mockevičiūtė, Gintarė Latvėnaitė, Nerijus Gadliauskas, and Eimutis Kvoščiauskas. Three generations will come under one roof: V. Mockevičiūtė will play a domineering mother-in-law, G. Latvėnaitė – her daughter and family mother, and N. Gadliauskas – the son-in-law and family father. Their children will be played by Lina Talžūnaitė and Andrius Talžūnas, who became famous on social networks – real brother and sister, for whom these will be their first roles in a television series.
On Fridays, the rhythm of the workweek will be changed by music. At 7:30 PM, the second season of “Music Detectives” will begin, this time with a new hosting duo – Gintas Vaičikauskas and Ugnė Siparė.

On weekends at 7:30 PM, it will be the time for LNK’s big shows. On Saturdays, the stage will be taken by “The Voice of Lithuania,” held for the thirteenth time. Monika Liu, AISTÈ, and Mantas Jankavičius will take the coaches’ chairs, and the “Žemaitukai” will make decisions together in a double chair. The project will be hosted by Eglė Jurgaitytė and Rolandas Mackevičius.
On Sundays at 7:30 PM, the stage will be taken by “Star Duets. New Era.” Last year, nearly 1.45 million viewers watched the project, and this season nine new pairs already promise surprises. Giedrius Savickas’s old dream will come true with Toma Vaškevičiūtė to be partners not only in theater but also on television. The duets will be judged by Rafailas Karpis, Ieva Prudnikovaitė, Paulius Vaitiekūnas, and Liepa Mondeikaitė, and in the fourth show, the first pair will leave the project. Among the pairs are long-haul truck driver Greta Bulovaitė with Donatas Balvočius, and basketball commentator Karolis Tiškevičius with Iglė Bernotaitė.
In the new LNK season, cinema turns into a true high-class home cinema experience, bringing the brightest Hollywood premieres and pop culture phenomenon franchises to television screens. Viewers can expect the visually stunning Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune: Part Two,” continuing one of the most ambitious sci-fi sagas of the decade. The dark and provocative Gotham world will be opened by the long-awaited “Joker: Folie à Deux,” and the post-apocalyptic George Miller universe will be impressively continued by “Furiosa: The Mad Max Saga.” Tom Cruise will undoubtedly captivate viewers again as the unstoppable agent Ethan Hunt in “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning,” along with the epic titan clash in “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.”
Autumn evenings will also offer top-notch action and adrenaline. Fans of intense plot movies will be drawn to Denzel Washington’s “The Equalizer 3,” the true story-based speed and thrill drama “Gran Turismo,” and the wild elemental power of “Twisters.” Meanwhile, on weekends, the whole family will settle in front of the TV – they will enjoy the visually distinctive animated masterpiece “Spider-Man: Across the Multiverse,” which triumphed in cinemas, and the latest adventures of beloved characters in the cheerful “Hotel Transylvania: Transformania.”
From weekday series, games, and talk shows to weekend musical shows and big cinema – this will be the new LNK week. The new season starts on August 31.
