This Government started its work two weeks ago, on July 14th.
Already then, after brief greetings, M. Sinkevičius assigned the first tasks to the ministers, which they should complete before the beginning of September, when the autumn session of the Seimas will start.
However, since this is already the third Government of this ruling majority, which took over from Inga Ruginienė’s cabinet during the summer, M. Sinkevičius hinted that he would allow some ministers to take a vacation if they had planned their rest earlier.

It turned out that exactly half of the ministers will take advantage of the proposal to enjoy the last month of summer, even though officially they have not accumulated a single day of vacation.

By the way, in August, at least five members of the Government out of 14 will not be at work at the same time.
