The singer admits that the musical pause was not accidental. “It was a time demanding more challenges, patience. Old versions, old beliefs were being shed. And that waiting phase, until your newer version establishes itself, can be somewhat intimidating. I took a conscious break, gathered experience, emotions, and now I want to put it into the new album,” says Iglė.

The song “Man atsakyki” was born from very human feelings: waiting and longing. “Sometimes it feels like you are waiting not only for a person but also for yourself beside them. The song is about those sleepless nights when thoughts go in circles, you count the minutes and look for an answer to a question that no one else but you can answer. There aren’t many words in the lyrics. I wanted to leave space for the listener’s thoughts and experiences,” she says.
“Man atsakyki” – is also about impatience, searching for yourself through uncomfortable things. About the feeling that you can no longer catch up with others. But the race ends when you realize that there really is nowhere to rush. And there is no one to race with, we are all on our own path of self-discovery,” the singer is convinced.

The song “Man atsakyki” is certainly not the last news that Iglė has prepared for you. Quite recently, an unexpected duet of hers with singer Edilija Nikartaitė (formerly “Geltona”) titled “Tu netikėjai manim” was released. Iglė has planned several more song premieres that will be presented very soon.
The singer smiles – she will manage to balance both rest and work during the summer. “I want a whole album, I want concerts with my new and old songs. My musical path is not typical: it is winding, with stops. But now it seems that I have caught momentum and everything is happening at a crazy speed,” Iglė laughed.
