The Pentagon chief emphasized that the US aims for Ukraine to be able to defend itself, so Washington will look for ways to ensure further support.
Additionally, he noted that the United States is increasingly investing in the development of drone systems.

“President Trump’s 2027 budget includes $56 billion in investments aimed at ensuring superiority in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles,” P. Hegseth said.
According to him, the US continues to learn from Ukraine’s combat experience.
“We have learned a lot from Ukraine and its actions. We aim not only to keep up but to become the best in the world in this field,” emphasized the Pentagon chief.
