Running to the finish in 13.09 seconds, the Lithuanian won the second heat and shared 5th-6th places overall among 24 participants.
For such a performance in the first of seven events, the Lithuanian earned 1111 points.
The fastest in the hurdles event was the Swiss Annik Kalin (12.59 seconds, 1187 points), who also moved ahead.

From 13:25, B. Juškevičiūtė will also compete in the high jump event.

Two more events await her in the evening: at 21:35 B. Juškevičiūtė will participate in the shot put event, and at 23:02 she will run 200 meters.
The remaining three events will be completed by the Lithuanian on Saturday.
The evening program will also feature a Lithuanian accent – it will include Gabija Galvydytė, who dramatically qualified for the 800 meters final and called it a “return of the universe”.
