As Ingrida Martinkėnaitė stated, divorce is definitely not the end of the world.

“To let something new in, you need to close old doors, and then something new and good will come.

I think that everyone tries during a divorce because it is still important, after all, you were once with that person. And I believe that if people are meant to be together, they will definitely come together either after a year, or after two, or will spend old age arm in arm,” shared I. Martinkėnaitė.

“This is what experienced women mean. The most precious thing in life is time, and divorces usually do not happen like rain from a clear sky. I already knew I would divorce for a couple of years, I dealt with it, tried to save it, but it didn’t work,” shared G. Alijeva.

Žmonės.lt reminds that in mid-September, after presentations in US cinemas, Andrius Blaževičius’s love drama “Divorce During the War” will reach Lithuania. Ahead of the film’s premiere, the group “Šeškės” prepared a special surprise – they revived a song specially created for the cinema screen, “I Need You,” which is heard both in A. Blaževičius’s first film “The Saint” (2016) and in his latest work.

The group members smile that as soon as they heard the first chords and words of the song “I Need You,” nostalgia flooded in – we thought that the piece must be released into a wider ether with new strength and sound.

“Although the film tells about divorce, it often brings positive changes. It is worth remembering for all of us that this is just one stage of life, which comes and goes. And this song is like a memory of wonderfully spent time with a loved one,” says Ingrida Martinkėnaitė.
