„Gaila“ – a song about love and its end, but its imagery turned out quite different than one might expect. Instead of the usual love story, the video takes you to a rugby field, full of physical strength, contact, and genuine emotions. The idea of rugby for the video was suggested by its director Rokas Makarevičius.

„I am very happy that the video turned out so unexpected. The song is about love and its end, so it was interesting to look for a completely different way to convey that feeling. I think that is exactly why the visuals work – they act as an indirect illustration of the song,“ says GJan.
The rugby players from Vilnius and Kaunas who contributed to the video had to face not the easiest conditions during filming.

„We are very grateful to both teams and the academy athletes. The filming day was really cold, and the guys had to get soaked through several times. They fully understood that after such filming they might get sick, but still gave their all and completely immersed themselves in the process. That’s why the video turned out so lively and real,“ says GJan.

„Gaila“ is one of the songs from the upcoming GJan album. Next week, the artist promises to announce more news about the album release concert, planned for this winter.
The song „Gaila“ is already available on all major music platforms, and the new video can be seen on GJan’s official YouTube channel.
