The user reported a foreign object.

According to VMVT, the unsafe product is cooked turkey ham “Classic”, first grade, 90 g. Its manufacturer is UAB “Biovela-Utenos mėsa”, and its wholesaler is “Rimi Logistics”.

The batch number of the unsafe product is 2608230539.

This meat was suitable for consumption until October 10, 2026.

On behalf of the quality director of “BIOVELA Group”, Diana Barauskienė told 15min that after receiving information about a red plastic fragment found in the cooked turkey ham “Classic”, an investigation was carried out.

“No signs of foreign object spread were found during the investigation – the available information indicates that this was an isolated case. However, to ensure consumer safety, it was decided to withdraw the entire batch of this product from sale,” she commented.

According to D. Barauskienė, consumers who purchased this batch of the product are asked not to consume it and to return it to the “Rimi” store.

“We apologize to consumers for the inconvenience caused,” she added.

Meanwhile, “Rimi” public relations manager Luka Lesauskaitė-Remeikė stated that they currently have no information about this case.
