In his latest travel video, A. Valujavičius was pleased that his YouTube channel is already subscribed to by 199 thousand people. There is very little left to reach the impressive number, so the traveler began to think about how to celebrate this occasion.
“Thank you. I think we will soon reach 200 thousand. Probably need to hold some kind of contest,” he said.
A. Valujavičius admitted that he would like to give his followers something from the current trip in the United States.
“I would really like to hold a contest and give something from America to one or several random, selected subscribers, but I haven’t thought of what yet,” the traveler said.
He considered that he could give away some of his travel items, but this option is not the most suitable for him. A. Valujavičius did not hide that he is attached to the items used in expeditions, and besides, many of them are needed in other trips as well.
However, there is still a lot of time left until the end of the trip, so the man hopes to come up with something interesting. At the same time, he asked the followers themselves to share ideas.
“Maybe you have some thoughts on what kind of contest it could be and how to select the winners?” he asked.

The traveler recalled that he used to hold contests for his followers during previous expeditions. One of them, according to A. Valujavičius, was especially memorable – during the trip to Indonesia, he bought machetes for 20 lucky winners.
Speaking about the approaching 200 thousand subscriber mark, the traveler recalled the long journey he has taken over many years of sharing content on the YouTube platform.
“A lot of ground covered, many trips completed, many YouTube vlogs created, edited, and revived. A very long journey. Thank you for your support and recognition,” said A. Valujavičius.
15min reminds that “Kayaking across America” is already the 13th expedition of A. Valujavičius. During it, the traveler plans to cover about 5600 kilometers along the Missouri and Mississippi rivers in about half a year – from the town of Three Forks in Montana to the Gulf of Mexico. This is the most ambitious trip of this kind in Lithuanian history.
The Missouri is considered the longest river in North America, and along the entire route, A. Valujavičius will have to face 15 dams, due to which part of the journey inevitably has to be done on land. The traveler has repeatedly emphasized that he aims to complete the entire route by his own strength, therefore refusing offered help and rides.
