We remind you that at the beginning of spring A.Mockus announced a new ambitious goal – in 2027 he will try to cross the Indian Ocean alone in a paddleboard.

„In 2027, I will set off across the Indian Ocean on the paddleboard „Kuršis“. Without accompaniment. Without an engine. Without a backup way back. Thousands of kilometers of open water will await me again, mystical unknown, oppressive solitude, and that boundary beyond which only human will remains,“ the traveler wrote on Facebook at that time.

A.Mockus has already experienced a similar challenge – earlier he crossed the Pacific Ocean alone on a paddleboard, but the journey was disrupted by a typhoon collision.
