“Within five years from the establishment of the studio, we will be able to double the actual 208 million euros, as there are already many talks with the largest foreign clients, so that as soon as this whole matter moves seriously and there is at least an approximate opening date, they will start reserving spaces,” said Romanas Matulis, director of the Baltic Film & Creative Tech Cluster association, to journalists after signing the memorandum.

The memorandum commits to creating audiovisual content production infrastructure in Vilnius by 2030, aiming to attract more international filming projects, encourage investments, create high value-added jobs, and strengthen the city’s position in the Baltic and Northern European film market.
