However, it turned out that there is no general ban on using pyrotechnics in Vingis Park. The municipality states that each event is evaluated separately, and the organizers of Jessica Shy’s concert had all the permits.

“In this particular case, concerts organized in Vingis Park had permits from the municipality, and the use of pyrotechnic devices during them was coordinated. When issuing permits, the municipality considers many aspects, such as the safety of the devices used, people’s health, possible harm to nature and animals,” Vilnius city municipality media relations specialist Indrė Naureckaitė commented to the portal MadeinVilnius.lt.
